Did you know?

MSC World Europa is the first ship in the MSC fleet powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)? This makes her one of the cleanest large cruise ships at sea today. While other lines talk about environmental commitments, MSC actually invested in next-generation fuel technology that significantly reduces emissions compared to traditional marine fuel.

The Venom Drop @ The Spiral is the longest dry slide at sea, plunging 11 decks from top to bottom. Forget gentle family slides – this beast spans from Deck 20 down to Deck 9, making it a proper adrenaline rush that puts most land-based water parks to shame. It’s housed within the ship’s distinctive spiral structure that you can see from the outside.

Masters of the Sea is MSC’s first onboard brewery, actually brewing fresh craft beer during your cruise. This isn’t just another themed bar serving bottled beer – they’re producing proper fresh ales and lagers on board. Located on Deck 7 (London), it’s designed as an authentic English pub where you can watch the brewing process and taste beer that’s literally never been more than a few decks away from where it was made.

MSC World Europa Cabin FAQ

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC systems will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.

Great question! Not many MSC ships don’t have a Deck 13 – but all the World-Class currently are missing a Deck 13 – this is because the ships are likely to sail in waters where 13 is an unlucky number!

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

There are a total of 2,626 cabins on the ship.

Thirty different types and three ‘Bella’ types that cover Interior, Ocean View and Balcony guaranteed cabins.

There are a total of 40 cabins that can sleep six comfortably. These are Premium Aurea Suite (SL1) cabin types.

There are a total of 66 Accessible cabins on the ship. They are priced the same as other cabins in the same grades.

There are 152 Suites.

You can track the ship in real time on our dedicated MSC World Europa tracking page.
