Did you know?

MSC World Asia is the third ship in the MSC World-Class fleet and will spend her first year sailing the Mediterranean.

World Asia is currently being built alongside her future sister MSC World Atlantic at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

World Asia introduces a new cabin category in MSC Yacht Club. The newly minted YD3 – Royal Suite Duplex with Whirlpool. Just four of these suites exist on Deck 16 (+18), and each one can sleep six people!

View these deck plans with caution

Whilst the deck plans are correct for all cabins/suites, the venues around the ship currently mirror MSC World America – this is because MSC is keeping the final venues and names for them a secret until closer to launch! We will update them when they are released.

MSC World Asia Cabin FAQ

There are a total of 53 Accessible cabins on the ship. They are priced the same as other cabins in the same grades.

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC computer will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

You might also be wondering why there is no Deck 13 – unusual for an MSC ship, but none of the World-Class ships have a Deck 13 either!

There are a total of 2,614 cabins on the ship.

There are 44 cabins that can sleep more than four people on MSC World Asia!

  • 40 x SL1 Suite Aurea suites
  • 4 x YD3 MSC Yacht Club Royal Suite Duplex with Whirlpool

33 different types and 3 ‘Bella’ types which cover Interior, Ocean View and Balcony.

There are 144 Suites, including 7 YC Interior suites and 1 YC Deluxe Accessible suite.

You can’t track her just yet – she’s still at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, being built! She’s due for launch in December 2026 though!
