Did you know?

MSC Seaview features two separate 105-metre zip lines on her top deck – making her one of the few cruise ships where you can literally zip from one end to the other above the ship. These aren’t just short novelty rides; at 105 metres each, they offer genuine thrills with panoramic ocean views.

The ship’s unique Waterfront Boardwalk wraps around the lower decks – creating an outdoor promenade where you can stroll along the ship’s edge with unobstructed sea views. This Seaside-class signature feature essentially brings the seaside pier experience to sea, complete with outdoor dining and bars right at water level.

Her decks follow an ocean naming system rather than numbers – from Cape Cod (Deck 5) up to Sun Deck (Deck 20), with stops at Mediterranean, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean along the way. Smart cruisers quickly learn that “meet me at Indian Ocean” (Deck 7) sounds far more exotic than “Deck 7” and actually makes navigation easier once you get the hang of it.

MSC Seaview Cabin FAQ

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC computer will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

There are a total of 2,026 cabins on the ship.

20 different types and 3 ‘Bella’ types, which cover Interior, Ocean View and Balcony

There are a total of 52 Accessible cabins on the ship. They are priced the same as other cabins in the same grades.

There are 86 Suites. 12 of these suites are Interiors.
