Did you know?

MSC Seashore pioneered the Seaside-EVO class – she’s the first ship of this enhanced design, stretching 16 metres longer than her Seaside-class sisters and adding an extra 15,900 GT of space. That translates to more restaurants, an additional pool, and enhanced entertainment venues whilst keeping the signature “follow the sun” design that brings outdoor spaces to the forefront.

Every passenger deck is named after a famous lighthouse – from La Jument (the dramatic French lighthouse battered by waves) to Cape Byron in Australia. It’s a thoughtful navigation aid that actually works – telling someone to meet you on “Bell Rock” is far easier than remembering “Deck 18,” and it adds character beyond typical ship deck names.

The Bridge of Sighs spans eight metres of pure architectural drama – this glass-enclosed walkway on Deck 16 connects the forward and aft sections of the ship whilst offering spectacular sea views. Named after Venice’s famous bridge, it’s become one of Seashore’s most Instagram-worthy features and a genuinely pleasant shortcut between venues.

MSC Seashore Cabin FAQ

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC computer will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

There are a total of 2,270 cabins on the ship.

21 different types and 3 ‘Bella’ types, which cover Interior, Ocean View and Balcony

There are a total of 41 cabins that can comfortably accommodate 5 people. These include split Premium Interiors, Two-Bedroom Grand Suites Aureas, Premium Suites Aurea with Whirlpools, and various MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suites.

There are a total of 65 Accessible cabins on the ship. They are priced the same as other cabins in the same grades.

There are 131 Suites. 20 of these suites are Interiors.
