Did you know?

MSC Seascape breaks from tradition with island-themed deck names. While her sister ships use composer names (Beethoven, Verdi, Mozart), Seascape takes you on a global tour from Portuguese Island at the top to Phi Phi Island below – making navigation genuinely easier and more fun.

She’s home to the only open-air roller coaster at sea. Robotron on Deck 20 (Portuguese Island) is an arm coaster attraction that swings you over the ocean at height – proper thrill-seeker territory and exclusive to the Seaside-EVO class ships.

The Seaside-EVO design adds genuine space where it matters. At 339 metres long (16 metres longer than the original Seaside class), this stretched design delivers 250+ extra cabins and an additional pool deck without feeling crowded – she maintains an impressive 7.6m² of public space per guest.

MSC Seascape Cabin FAQ

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC computer will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.
