Did you know?

MSC Seaside features two 120-meter zip lines that stretch across the ship’s upper decks, making it one of the few cruise ships where you can literally zip-line over the top of the ship. These aren’t token attractions either – at nearly 400 feet long, they’re proper adrenaline rushes that offer spectacular sea views as you soar from one end of the ship to the other.

The ship pioneered the “inside-out” design philosophy with her revolutionary Waterfront Boardwalk – a wraparound promenade that brings outdoor dining and bars right to the water’s edge. This 44-meter outdoor space on Deck 8 lets you dine and drink with unobstructed ocean views, something virtually impossible on traditional cruise ship designs where the hull blocks waterline access.

MSC Seaside houses not one but two dedicated Venchi 1878 venues – a chocolate factory with an open kitchen on Deck 6, where you can watch artisans craft premium Italian chocolates, plus a separate gelato and crêperie on Deck 7. This partnership with the renowned Turin-based chocolatier means you can witness the chocolate-making process firsthand, then enjoy fresh gelato made with the same premium ingredients just one deck away.

MSC Seaside Cabin FAQ

Bella is an MSC Experience type and not an actual physical cabin. They are a Guaranteed grade, i.e. Bella Balcony means the MSC computer will automatically assign you any of the Fantastica balconies across the entire ship.

Great question! There isn’t a Deck 17, as seventeen in Italian culture is considered unlucky!

If you view 17 as a Roman numeral (XVII), it is changed anagrammatically to VIXI, which in Latin translates to “I have lived” or “My life is over”. So you won’t find a Deck 17 on any MSC cruise ship!

There are a total of 2,026 cabins on the ship.

20 different types and 3 ‘Bella’ types, which cover Interior, Ocean View and Balcony

There are a total of 42 cabins that can sleep five comfortably. These are split between 2 x Premium Interiors (IL1), 3 x Two-Bedroom Grand Suite Aureas (SD), 18 x Premium Suite Aurea with Whirlpools (SLW) and 19 x MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suites (YC1)

There are a total of 52 Accessible cabins on the ship. They are priced the same as other cabins in the same grades.

There are 86 Suites. 12 of these suites are Interiors.

You can track the ship in real time on our dedicated MSC Seaside tracking page.
