Did you know?
MSC Sinfonia’s decks are named after classical composers from Beethoven to Schubert – making navigation easier than you’d think. Instead of remembering “Deck 7,” you’ll head to “Brahms” for the restaurants or “Mozart” for the casino. Smart cruisers use this system to their advantage when booking cabins.
The Teatro San Carlo isn’t just any theatre – it’s named after Naples’ legendary opera house, the oldest continuously operating venue of its kind in the world. Spanning two decks with 557 seats, Sinfonia’s version brings that Italian theatrical heritage to sea. Arrive early for the best seats, as there’s no reservation system.
Here’s something cruise lines don’t advertise: Sinfonia’s “Power Walking Track” comes with a warning that it’s unmarked and can be obstructed. Translation? Don’t expect a dedicated jogging circuit like newer ships offer. Morning walkers should head to Deck 12 early before deck activities take over the space.
